The latex of aloe vera is called aloe juice. The extract of aloe vera is yellow and found on the outer part of the leaves. This aloe juice is also used as a laxative and aloe granules are made from drying the juice and it is dark brown. When the method of aloe vera use is the consumption of aloe juice concentrate, the daily recommended dosage is one ounce, equal to two tablespoons, and is most beneficial when taken before meals and supplements to increase absorption 3 to 10 times.
