Asthma Natural Cure - is there one?

Is there an asthma natural cure? No there isn't - not in my book.

I do believe that asthma, like ALL other chronic and degenerative diseases (those which conventional medicine claims are incurable), can in fact be cured using a totally natural treatment approach. Yes, there are natural and herbal remedies which work. Yes, an asthma natural treatment can help a great deal. Yes, there are useful home remedies. But there is no natural cure, per se.

What do I mean? Let me explain.

In my view, the word "cure" is a huge word. It gives most people the impression of a "one substance is all it takes to get rid of this disease or ailment". "Cure" gives the idea of a magic bullet. It is this mentality which drives most people towards pharmaceutical drug medications, hoping that a pill can be the quick fix that "cures" their health condition.

Side note - in reality, though, drugs cure NOTHING - they only MASK SYMPTOMS. It is like sweeping dust under the carpet and pretending they are not there. One day, all the dust from underneath will be exposed and come back to haunt you, and your house will be dirtier and dustier than ever.

It is with the above in mind that I contend that there is no asthma natural cure, per se. To truly treat asthma, to truly heal the condition, to truly recover from the ailment, i.e. to truly "cure" asthma, a comprehensive and holistic approach would be necessary. This applies to most people (there will always be exceptions). And it applies to all chronic degenerative diseases.

As part of a holistic asthma natural treatment, several areas are crucial - diet and nutrition, environmental factors, as well as the use of supporting herbs, herbal remedies and / or supplements. Alternative treatment protocols, such as acupuncture and yoga, might help, too.
