A note about Possible Causes of Migraine HeadachesIn natural health and healing, we believe in holistic health and healing, as we realize that different parts of the human body are highly interlinked, often beyond Man's understanding. We also believe that the body has the ability to heal itself of any disease, even supposedly incurable diseases. In order to do so, the body needs the support of some basic dietary and lifestyle good health habits, such as a full body detox and a proper understanding and application of nutrition. No matter how remote or unrelated a health condition may seem, these fundamental health steps will greatly magnify the effects and benefits of any of our health-promoting efforts, including the use of specific natural health remedies. Its also important for you to know that there are different types of headaches that arent exactly migraines, but can feel like a migraine when youre suffering from them. Before you can work on fixing your migraines, you need to know the possible causes of migraine headaches that you may be overlooking. First, you need to know that a migraine headache is considered to be a vascular headache, or to put it simply, it is associated with the size of the veins in your head. There are nerve endings in the head that wrap around veins. When the veins in your head grow, they stretch, which causes severe pain and, subsequently, more growth of the veins. These headaches often have triggers and signs that a sufferer usually begins to recognize after a time. Many people will notice an aura that will occur about five to 30 minutes before a headache. This even happens for women who suffer from migraines during their menstrual cycle. You may see squiggly or jagged lights, dots, flashing lights, blind spots and possibly tunnel vision. Most migraine sufferers experience migraines with an aura. New research is beginning to show that if you can properly identify the causes of migraine headaches which hit you, you may be able to greatly reduce the frequency and severity of your attacks. Causes may vary widely in individuals, but there are a few known causes of migraine headaches that should be taken into account when trying to find your own triggers.
These are not the only causes of migraine headaches, but they are some of the more common triggers that people may experience. You may have different triggers for your migraines, however, such as the beginning of menstruation or pre menstrual syndrome (PMS). Or you may find that a certain kind of bread causes you to have migraines. Another thing that you should know is that just because you do your best to avoid the triggers of migraine headaches, there is no guarantee that you will not suffer from one; avoiding the major causes, however, may minimize the duration and severity of your migraine headache attacks.
