Garlic for Acne Treatment

This very brief article discusses the use of garlic for acne treatment.

Personally, I am not too familiar with this particular herbal acne treatment, and this information has been contributed by someone who has better knowledge in this area.

Garlic Acne Treatment

The garlic acne treatment is said to be one of the most popular benefits of garlic.

Basically, garlic juice in extremely tiny quantities or after diluting in water is used at the rate of one little drop over a pimple or acne-infected area.

In the following lines, an alternative way of using garlic for acne treatment is described.

* Fry garlic in a pan on a low flame, till it turns a little brown.
* Be careful while frying garlic, since it has the tendency to split when heated and fly all over the place.
* After the garlic cools, eat one garlic clove; it is believed that this will help in the blood purification process and flush out toxins.
* This, too, helps clear pimples and works as an effective acne treatment.

In either method, remember to peal off the outer skin or covering of garlic cloves before frying or extracting the juice.

This should be tried for a day or two and observed for any symptoms of skin rashes or acid reflux. As garlic is extremely pungent and strong and if one is not used to garlic, there could be reactions. If that happens, garlic application and / or consumption should be stopped or reduced and built up again gradually.
